Diabetic Macular Edema Pathophysiology: Vasogenic versus Inflammatory

Abstract: Diabetic macular edema (DME) can cause blindness in diabetic patients suffering from diabetic retinopathy (DR). DM parameters controls (glycemia, arterial tension, and lipids) are the gold standard for preventing DR and DME.
