Abstract:In order to clarify whether autonomic neuropathy modifies the haemodynamic effects of alfentanil, vecuronium and pancuronium, twenty-seven patients with diabetes mellitus were studied at thiopentone induction, and during nitrous oxide anaesthesia for ophthalmic vitreous surgery.
