Abstract: Cryptococcosis is an opportunistic fungal infection of worldwide distribution with significant associated morbidity and mortality. HIV, organ transplantation, malignancy, cirrhosis, sarcoidosis, and immunosuppressive medications, are established risk factors for cryptococcosis.
