Abstract:In carbohydrate chemistry, many useful stereoselective glycosylation methods have been developed that control the stereochemistry of the newly formed glycosylated product in chemical glycosylation. For example, in the past decade, unique stereoselective glycosylation methods have been reported that use glycosyl donors in which the ring is conformationally restricted by the di-tert-butylsilylene (DTBS) group as a cyclic silyl protecting group. To date, glycosyl donors with the DTBS group have been used to contr… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
