Dexmedetomidine extraction by the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation circuit: results from an in vitro study

Abstract: Background: Dexmedetomidine is a sedative administered to minimize distress and decrease the risk of life threatening complications in children supported with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.
