Dexmedetomidine attenuates spinal cord ischemia–reperfusion injury through both anti-inflammation and anti-apoptosis mechanisms in rabbits

Abstract: BackgroundDexmedetomidine (Dex) can improve neuronal viability and protect the spinal cord from ischemia–reperfusion (I/R) injury, but the underlying mechanisms are not fully understood.
