Dewey in the World of Experiential Education

Abstract: In this short chapter, my goal is to consider whether John Dewey' s writings about experiential education have been, and currently are, relevant to modernday conceptions of experiential learning in adults. The answer to this question is unequivocally yes. Dewey' s influence continues to have significance for conceptions of experiential learning in adults; however, a degree of elucidation is necessary.
