Research on enhancing Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) security in hybrid environments is critically relevant and important to protect data and ensure customer and organizational trust through the development of strong security policies. The study aims to develop and implement effective strategies and interventions that will help ensure that corporate data and resources are protected when employees use personal mobile devices in an environment where both on-premises and cloud-based resources are present. The methods used include analytical, deduction, modeling, statistical, and synthesis methods. This research identified specific vulnerabilities of potential threats to BYOD mobile devices in a hybrid environment and developed security strategies that include recommendations for creating a security policy and using a mobile device management system. The research led to the development of specific technical solutions, such as recommendations for mobile device configuration. This included educating employees and managers about security rules and the importance of adhering to security policies, and updated lists of current BYOD security threats and challenges given the changing threat environment. The practical value of the work lies in providing practical relevance to organizations by providing robust protection of sensitive data and resources, increasing employee comfort and confidence in the security of personal devices, easing IT departments’ tasks of device management and threat detection, and increasing customer and partner confidence in a security-layer organization.

A new systems approach to quantitative estimation of financial risks of investment projects was proposed: an integral risk of the project as a whole for all its parameters at once and the risks for each of its parameters separately. At the same time, the very concept of the project risk has been generalized: instead of the conventional risk of unprofitability, a new, more general concept of the risk of unacceptably low project profitability has been introduced. Two levels of the project profitability were considered: a level acceptable to the investor and a realistically achievable level. Corresponding values of design parameters and indices of financial efficiency of the project were found for these levels. Based on the found values, relative margins of investment acceptability and risks of unacceptably low profitability of the project were calculated. A procedure of comprehensive assessment of the risk of unacceptable low profitability of the project for cases of high certainty and partial uncertainty has been developed. Explicit formulas for quantitative risk assessment of unacceptably low profitability of the project have been derived, ranges of values of all risks under consideration have been determined and appropriate recommendations have been given. Explicit formulas for calculating the values of project risks and dynamic points of project acceptability are convenient and useful for software implementation (for example, within the Monte Carlo method). For the Monte Carlo method and the method of scenarios, another alternative approach to assessing the integral risk of unacceptably low project profitability was proposed by the authors based on the direct calculation of unacceptable scenario values of any criterion of the project financial efficiency. A new index of financial efficiency of the project has also been introduced: a discounted period of acceptable return (discounted payback period of the project is its special case).

Project implementation is often carried out under the influence of negative changes in the environment and circumstances characterized as crisis. Therefore, the processes associated with risk management, which is the object of this study, are becoming important. The topic of this study is to increase the efficiency of projects by adapting the project to crisis conditions, promptly developing and making effective management decisions. For projects, it is necessary not only to identify the current situation as risky but also to determine rational ways to achieve the project goals under crisis conditions. Therefore, a comprehensive method of situational project risk management based on the combined application of situational analysis methods, intelligent and expert methods, as well as Big Data technology, is proposed. Within the framework of the method, a project risk management model has been built in the form of a fuzzy situational graph, which would provide a choice of strategies that could contribute to overcoming a risky situation, as well as reduce the time to make effective management decisions in crisis circumstances. The result of this method is compliance with time constraints, reducing resource overruns and losses in the project, as well as adapting to rapidly changing circumstances and adequate response. A comprehensive method of situational project risk management is characterized by solving the task toformalize management decision-making procedures and their information support, taking into account the availability of both structured and unstructured data. The proposed procedure for situational project risk management based on the use of Big Data technology can also be the basis of project management information technology and the corresponding decision support system
