Device Based on Gainassb Leds for Measurement of Water Concentration in Oil

Abstract: The main object of the work was developed the device based on GaInAsSb diodes for measurement water content in oil. Optical absorption method was used in this device. Three LEDs emitting in the range from 1.6 to 2.4 μm, and one wide-band GaSb/GaInAsSb/GaAlAsSb photodiode were used as sources of radiation and detectors.The device was developed on the basis of selective optical absorption method of detection for measuring water content in oil.
