Abstract:In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), based on various pathogenic symptoms and the ‘golden chamber’ medical text, Huangdi Neijing, diabetes mellitus falls under the category ‘collateral disease’. TCM, with its wealth of experience, has been treating diabetes for over two millennia.
