Developmental stability in perch (Perca fluviatilis) in acidic aluminium-rich lakes

Abstract: Fluctuating asymmetry is defined as random deviation from perfect bilateral symmetry resulting from environmental or genetic disturbances (termed developmental noise) during early embryonic development.
