Abstract:The obvious anisotropy of layered rock mass prevents the built-in constitutive model of commercial simulation software from accurately describing the elastoplastic behavior of the rock mass. In this paper, a transversely isotropic elastoplastic constitutive model (called the AN-MC model) that characterizes the elastoplastic failure behavior of the layered rock mass is developed by introducing the Mohr-Coulomb yield criterion with the tension cutoff in the model based on the transversely isotropic constitutive … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
