Development of Thermoresponsive Hydrogels with Mucoadhesion Properties Loaded with Metronidazole Gel-Flakes for Improved Bacterial Vaginosis Treatment

Abstract: Bacterial vaginosis is an infectious disease that has significantly affected women’s health. Metronidazole has been widely used as a drug for treating bacterial vaginosis.
