Development of the Railway Point Electric Heating Intellectual Control Algorithm

Abstract: The article reviews and describes the problems of the railway point heating conventional control system considering its structure, simple design, disadvantages and nonconformity. As a solution to the described problem, an innovative and advanced point heating control algorithm is proposed based on Mathlab's Fuzzy Logic Designer module, which will allow control of heating more effectively and intellectually. The tasks for the advanced and intellectual point heating control system were set. The interdependency o… Show more

“…We will count the numbers 1, p and q roots of the cubic equation. Let the first line be multiplied by B 3 , the second by -B 2 , the third by -B 1 , the fourth by -1 and add them, then the right-hand sides add up to zero, so one gets, [6]:…”

“…In order to transport cargo safely and uninterruptedly using railway, all elements of railway infrastructure must function without failures. According to researches [1][2][3][4][5][6] main safety focus is on railway automatics and signalling, shunting movement, level crossings and turnouts or points. All of these elements are not heavily dependent on weather conditions except points.…”

“…The main technical and economic issue in transport today is the regulation and management of power consumption modes [1,2] in order to optimize the power consumption for traction. At present, one of the options for reducing energy losses is hybridization of electric traction systems, as a result of the use of capacitive energy accumulators, as an additional power source for traction load.…”
