In 2‐year fruiting Quercus ( Q. acutissima , Q. rubra , Q. suber L., Q. velutina ), pollen germinates instantly after pollination to penetrate the stigmatic surface to the stylar transmitting tissue (Cecich, 1997; Deng et al, 2022).
