Abstract:Passive heat removal system (SPOT) designed for long-term heat removal of the core to the final absorber through the second circuit in case of out-of-design accidents. The system duplicates the corresponding active heat removal system to the final absorber if it is not possible to perform its design functions. In the development of security systems, there is a tendency to move from active to passive security systems.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
