Unified Modeling Language (UML) is the effective standard for modeling object-oriented software systems. However, the ambiguity of semantics and the absence of consistency among UML diagrams lead to lack of precisely defining the requirements of a system. On the other hand, formal methods are techniques and tools use the mathematical notations, and they involve the precise syntax and semantics of the unambiguous software requirements specification. It applied in early stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Therefore, an integrated between UML specification and formal specification is required to reduce the requirements' ambiguity and error, and to improve the quality and security of software systems. This paper proposes an approach involves the combining UML use-case diagram and activity diagrams with Z language for formalization of Library Management System (LMS). The focus of this paper is on consistency between the UML diagrams to Z Schema, and then verified by using the Z / EVEs tool.

<p>Zakah (alms) has a strategic position in terms of Islamic value and terms of the development of the welfare of the people. In the current digital era, the use of technology can facilitate zakah worship more easily, quickly, efficiently, and secure. This study aims to analyze and design electronic zakah (e-Zakah) structurally and systematically using the Model-View-Controller (MVC) approach. MVC is an approach or pattern of object-oriented analysis and design for software development that widely used today. MVC is implemented in the analysis and design modelling using Unified Modeling Language (UML) for e-Zakah. Based on the traceability result of analysis and design of e-Zakah, it can be concluded that the e-Zakah analysis and design model has been met all of zakah concept, user and software requirements, and all of models can be traced to each other. Therefore, e-Zakah analysis and design model in this study is ready to be built as a software.</p>

In delivering information related to lecture activities at the National University, the Information Systems Study Program has prepared a special website, namely http://si.ftki.unas.ac.id/. The website contains a lot of information about important activities or announcements, it's just that the need for other supporting information makes users have the need to ask further questions regarding the information contained on the website. Actually the Website http://si.ftki.unas.ac.id/ has provided the RoomChat feature for question and answer sessions between admin and users, but this feature is still ineffective, such as there is a time lag between questions and responses or unable to provide services for 24 jam. In this study, the authors wanted to design the chatbot feature using the waterfall method, which was carried out sequentially starting from the planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing to maintenance stages. While working on the application, this chatbot was created using the Codeigniter framework with the mysqli database. This chatbot feature will result in a more interactive question and answer session, so that two-way communication with users can run smoothly.
