O agronegócio se apresenta como um dos setores mais importantes para o desenvolvimento da economia brasileira, promovendo emprego e gerando renda através da produção de alimentos e crescimento do setor agropecuário. A partir disso, torna-se imprescindível a introdução de conceitos teóricos e científicos a respeito do tema/setor, tendo como finalidade ampliar a produtividade e lucratividade. Muito arcabouço conceitual aplicado no cultivo agrícola são adquiridos no ensino fundamental, tornando o papel da escola primordial no desenvolvimento dos alunos e de sua capacidade em interpretar e resolver situações do cotidiano, podendo então tais conteúdos serem trabalhados de forma interdisciplinar. O presente artigo objetivou realizar uma Revisão Bibliográfica Sistemática (RBS) das publicações científicas acerca da modelagem matemática aplicada ao agronegócio para alunos do ensino médio no período compreendido entre 2015 a 2019. As publicações acerca da finalidade presente neste trabalho são de suma importância, visto que os resultados analisados contribuíram significativamente para identificar o estado da arte acerca do assunto. Foi observado que grande parte dos conteúdos relacionaram a aplicação da matemática como ferramenta indispensável na produção agrícola, se configurando como um instrumento cotidiano e usual ao agricultor.

Mathematics is one of the fields that has important role in the 21st-century thinking because mathematics involves the process of logical and systematic thinking to solve problems. This makes mathematical competencies need to be developed through learning and integrated into knowledge, skills, and attitudes. When learning has facilitated the development of 21st-century mathematical competencies, the assessment must also be able to photograph it. This research aimed to find out whether the lecturers of the Mathematics Education Study Program have conducted a 21st-century mathematics competency assessment. This research used a qualitative approach with the phenomenological method. The data were collected using in-depth interviews with each participant. The research participants were 20 lecturers from Mathematics Education Study Program who came from 12 provinces in Indonesia. Data analysis was performed by using the help of ATLAS.ti 8 software to analyze participants' transcripts and documentation, formulate important phrases or sentences, formulate meaning, bring themes up, and be integrated into in-depth descriptions of the phenomenon. The result showed that lecturers of the Mathematics Education Study Program have not focused on the 21st-century mathematics competency assessment. The assessment of each mathematical competency was only done globally and not carried out in detail about each of the competency indicators. “…The results of the international project ERDF (European Foundation for Regional Development) "Cross-border network of adaptation of mathematical competences in socio-economic development (MatNet)" point to certain problems of university's mathematical training of specialists implemented in the period 2011-2013 by the Agrarian University of Latvia and the University of Šiauliai (Lithuania), during which the role of mathematics in the modern labour market in the context of modern education was studied [17]. In particular, surveys of more than 300 employers and employees in Latvia and of more than 200 -in Lithuania indicate that 22% of those surveyed consider mathematics to be a set of formulas to remember, and 20% say it is a meaningless game of numbers by the rules devised by mathematicians.…”

Mathematical preparation of students for their professional self-realization in modern innovative society

The article analyzes the problems of mathematical university preparation of specialists in the context of their professional self-realization in the modern labour market. The structure of mathematical competence of students is considered, its most important components are substantively described (the ability to ask and answer questions in and with mathematics, the ability to deal with mathematical language and tools). As a result of the first (ascertaining) stage of pedagogical experiment allowed to establish the level of students’ mathematical competence formation according to the specified structure was established. It is proved that students of both mathematical and non-mathematical majors have poor mathematical knowledge and skills for solving problems that require their complex application, in particular, modeling problems in the context of future professional activity. The basic approaches to formation of mathematical competence of students are substantiated: research-oriented teaching; interdisciplinary approach and practical orientation; use of digital learning environments and related tools. The methods of implementation of these approaches are disclosed in the authors’ elective discipline for the students of mathematical specialty “Methods of formation of students’ mathematical competence for the future successful career”. The continuation of the research will be the introduction of the discipline above to the educational process which contains the next monitoring of future teachers’ readiness to use indicated approaches in their professional activity.
