Development of information and digital competence of future educational managers in conditions of innovative educational activity

Abstract

The article highlights the features of the development of information and digital competence of future education managers in terms of innovative educational activities. It is noted that information and digital competence is an integral component of the professional competence of the education manager and belongs to the 10 key competencies that a modern teacher should have according to the Concept of the New Ukrainian School. In the article on information and digital competence, we consider the ability to use information to solve problems, communicate, create information solutions, products and systems, as well as to gain new knowledge individually or collectively using tools, resources, processes and systems responsible for access and processing of information (information and data) obtained through any media resources. The structure of information and digital competence is seen as the unity of the following components: knowledge, skills, attitudes, information culture and digital literacy. It is proved that the content of information and digital competence is filled with such concepts as "information literacy", "digital literacy", "e-literacy", "multimedia literacy", "ICT literacy", "media literacy" and others. The specifics of innovative activity in educational institutions are considered. It is noted that the development of information and digital competence provides a digital component of innovation, as a wide range of digital technologies can meet the demands of the technogenic information society, which significantly modernizes the educational process. The importance of developing information and digital competence of education managers in the transition to distance or mixed formats of education in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Education" ( 2017) is proved. The role of information and digital competence of the education manager in the implementation of the right to education for people with disabilities who can not attend educational institutions is determined.
