Similar strength are found for aluminum-based alloys mechanically alloyed with Al 3 Zr and Al 3 Ti particles [100]. The studied Al-4.2 at/7.7wt%Mn-1.5 at/3.2 wt%Cu-1.6 at/4.9 wt%Zr alloy demonstrated a yield strength of 1100 MPa, an ultimate compressive strength of 1200 MPa at room temperature, and a yield strength of 380 MPa and an ultimate compressive strength of 440 MPa at the elevated temperature of 350 • C.
