This study aims to look at the effect of the flipped classroom approach on the guided inquiry model and student's self-efficacy on creative thinking skills on the reaction rate material. The study was conducted in class XI MIA SMA N 3 Jambi City with a 2 x 2 factorial design and the sample consisted of 2 classes chosen randomly. Data collection using test techniques, namely essay tests, includes indicators of creative thinking and non-tests, namely self-efficacy questionnaire data and field notes during the study. Analysis of the data used is 2-way ANOVA. The results showed that guided inquiry learning with the flipped classroom approach and high self-efficacy categories had high creative thinking abilities, but there is no interaction between learning models with self-efficacy towards creative thinking abilities on the reaction rate material because learning models and self-efficacy affect the results of students' creative thinking abilities independently. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded: (1) There is an influence of the flipped classroom approach on the guided inquiry model of students 'creative thinking abilities on the reaction rate material (2) There is an effect of students' selfefficacy on the ability to think creatively on the material reaction rate (3) There was no interaction between the learning model and students' self-efficacy.

During learning students face difficulties in understanding abstract chemistry topics. Currently there is no appropriate media to be applied in the learning process in order to increase students' abilities. Therefore, a study was conducted using macromedia flash based on computer animation to improve learning outcomes in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Medan Model schools in the Haloalkana sub discussion. This study aims to determine the effect of macromedia flash based on computer animation media on student learning outcomes in the haloalkane sub-discussion and to determine the correlation between the responses given by students to macromedia flash based on computer animation media in the haloalkane sub-discussion. The population of these two samples was taken using random sampling technique, namely class XII IPA 9 as the experimental class and class XII IPA 10 as the control class. The type of this research is quasi-experimental using the pretest and posttest models. Data collection was carried out using multiple choice instruments and response questionnaires. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was an increase in student learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class after the implementation of computer animation-based macromedia flash in the Haloalkana sub-discussion at MAN 2 Model Medan and there was a relationship between the responses given by students to computer animation based macromedia flash media in improvement of learning outcomes.

Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah mutu pendidikan dan karakter peserta didik adalah dengan melaksanakan penyempurnaan dan perubahan kurikulum. Untuk tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran bermutu, maka dirancang standar perkuliahan yang akan menjadi acuan bagi seluruh dosen dalam proses pembelajaran dikelas. Agar kriteria di atas terpenuhi maka sistem pendidikan nasional harus menerapkan dan memberikan pendidikan yang jauh lebih responsive. Bahan ajar berfungsi sebagai pedoman bagi pendidik untuk mengarahkan semua aktivitas pembelajaran, sekaligus merupakan substansi yang diajarkan kepada peserta didik. Hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan pengamat terhadap bahan ajar yang digunakan pada Universitas HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa (buku pegangan) khususnya buku kimia analitik dasar, belum termasuk ke dalam bahan ajar yang inovatif. penelitian ini merupakan analisis kualitatif terkhususnya pada pokok bahasan analisis gravimetri. Bentuk inovasi dalam pengembangan bahan ajar kimia dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar kimia analitik dasar pada mahasiswa
