“…In addition, a patient with a higher self-care competency has a higher health-related quality of life. The study result of Kang (2015) that showed a significantly negative correlation between presence of depressive symptom and health-related quality of life in stroke patients and the study results of Hong (2017), Jingwen et al (2018), and Kang (2015) were all consistent with the result of this study.
