Development of catalytic asymmetric P(III)-C bond formations in ferrocenyl, heterobicyclic & exocyclic olefins

Abstract

I designed the experimental study through theoretical brainstorming with Foo C.Q. and reached a consensus of the array of catalysts to be utilized.• I synthesized all enantiopure catalyst and ran all preliminary experiments.• All substrate synthesis and purification were conducted by Ong, Y. J. and Kojima, T. with my supervision.• Foo, C. Q. assisted me in the collection of nuclear magnetic resonance spectra and improving the experimental method.• Dr Li Y. assisted in carrying out the X-Ray Diffraction on crystal data and also structural refinement and analysis.• Ong, Y. J. and Kojima, T. assisted in the collection of experimental data (purification of chiral products as well as characterization data and chiral High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) with my guidance.
