Digitalization of learning is appropriate as a form of adjustment in facing the challenges of the 21st century. The problem faced is that teaching materials that are on the characteristics of students need to be developed properly, especially digital teaching materials, which also support improving critical thinking skills as one of the 21st-century skills. This study aims to develop digital teaching materials (e-modules) in social science learning to optimize students' critical thinking skills. The research design refers to Rowntree's development research which includes planning, development and evaluation. The e-module effectiveness test was carried out using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 104 class VIII students. Data was collected through interviews, observation, questionnaires and essay tests. Data analysis used the paired samples test, with the prerequisite test data being normally distributed and homogeneous. The tests' results stated that the research data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of the paired samples test stated that the social science learning e-module had a positive and significant contribution. It was concluded that social science learning e-modules were effectively used to optimize students' critical thinking skills.

Introduction: The adolescent has a high chance of becoming a smoker. Numerous determinants impact the smoking conduct of adolescents, among which the companionship of peers holds significant sway. The study aims to investigate the level of awareness pertaining to e-cigarettes as a means of acquiring insights into the patterns of e-smoking conduct. Methods: The study used a cross-sectional design in Kemoning Traditional Village, with 87 adolescents and early adults. Results: there is a strong link between adolescent smokers' perceptions of the calmness that comes with smoking and their actual smoking behaviour (p = 0.043). Conclusion: Participants generally had a positive perception of smoking hazards, with most agreeing that smoking could have negative health effects. Overall, the study provides insights into the factors influencing smoking behaviour.

Introduction: to evaluate problems and factors related to quality of life (QoL) for adult family caregivers (FCGs) of patients with dementia. Methods: The study used a systematic review method with the guidelines of PRISMA 2020 and registered in PROSPERO CRD42023464726. The review focused on adult FCGs for people with dementia in the home setting. The literature was searched from four databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, CINAHL, and PubMed. This systematic review examined a subset of fifty-two out of a total of 2,263. The study used a narrative synthesis method to analyze the study. Results: The result showed that the severity of a patient with dementia’s condition had an essential role in the patient's state. It impacted the caregiver's condition indirectly. Personal strategies (coping, resilience, sense of coherence, and expressed emotion) had an essential role in the caregiver situation. A maladaptive strategy would increase the stress of the caregivers and lead to a burden and depression. Those conditions of the caregiver would affect their QoL. Conclusions: Caring for patients with dementia is a huge psychological distress and burden on FCGs, which may negatively affect their quality of life in many aspects. Therefore, FCGs need education and support programs to maintain their overall aspect of quality of life and enable them to produce care for loved people.
