Development of an optimized game controller for energy saving in a novel interconnected air suspension system

Abstract: In this study, the focus is on reducing the energy that is consumed by a compressor for providing high air pressure in the reservoir. A new air suspension configuration is presented that is titled active interconnected air suspension with outsourced air pressure. In this configuration, a compressor is used to charge the tank; meanwhile, the air springs are connected. For minor excitation, first, the air flows between air springs to control roll angle and height adjustment. If the situation of body position get… Show more

“…15 One of the uses of the active suspension system is the intercom suspension system, in which the vibrations of all the wheels are connected to provide the best conditions for moving the body. 16,17 The usefulness of this force changes with circumstances at any moment. This type of suspension performs better than the previous two in terms of performance.…”

“…Considering the evolution of pneumatic suspension, their initial application was found in providing leveling function. 4,5 Conventional suspensions that use mechanical springs are most effective on roads with tiny bumps creating high-frequency vibrations, but may sometimes cause motion sickness or nausea in their passenger, if the 0–0.8 Hz vibrations are not effectively controlled, 6 whereas, this scarcely occurs in air suspension and provides conditions in which light vehicles can deliver very smooth ride conditions.…”
