Development of an Amperometric Biosensor and Performance Studies with a Minimum Background Current

Abstract: An amperometric glucose biosensor with immobilized glucose oxidase enzyme is developed and its performance is investigated for the analysis of glucose concentration. A systematic method to find the background current in an amperometric biosensor is proposed, and the procedure for the minimization of the current has been reported.
