Development of a TDMA digital cellular system based on Japanese standard

Abstract

A 3 channel TDhW digital cellular system based on a Japanese standard(') is being developed. The system, designed according to the OS1 model, will be connected to ISDN to achieve the flexibility needed to provide future enhanced services.T h i s p a p e r p r e s e n t s t h e network architecture and the system structure of the proposed system. Spectrum efficient and flexible channel/signaling structures are described. Economical a n d compact infrastructure configurations are given.
