Abstract:Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) consists in the application of a small voltage or current to a material, varying its frequency in a wide range and measuring its response to the estimulation. In this sense, the spectral behavior of the observed substance is obtained, as for each discrete frequency point one value of impedance is measured.Specifically when applied to biological systems it is called Bio-Impedance Spectroscopy (BIS).This research is about applying EIS to biological systems in order to char… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
