“…The presence of chemical groups of CTAB, naked Cu NPs, and CTAB-Cu NPs was further investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR). As shown in Figure B, the O–H stretching vibrations at 3461 cm –1 , the CO stretching vibrations at 1600 cm –1 , and the C–O stretching vibrations at 1060 cm –1 were observed only in the spectra of naked Cu NPs and CTAB-Cu NPs, owing to the presence of the reducing agent glucose.
