Abstract: Diazepam is a cornerstone immediate‐use antiseizure rescue therapy that may extend the duration between seizure clusters in people living with epilepsy. However, our mechanistic understanding of intermittent rescue therapy on disease progression is limited by the lack of suitable preclinical models.
