Abstract: <div>Frequency compounding is an ultrasound imaging technique used to reduce artifacts and improve signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR). In this work a new nonlinear frequency compounding (NLFC) method was introduced, and its application in B-mode imaging and noninvasive thermometry was investigated.
