Development of a method for the extraction of polyphenols from Fucus vesiculosus of the of the north seas.

Abstract: The coast of the Arctic seas is rich in reserves of brown algae, which are a source of valuable pharmaceutical substances, in particular polyphenols. The study compared the contents of the total polyphenols of the algae Fucus vesiculosusfrom the Barents, White, Norwegian seas and the Irminger Sea (the western coast of Iceland).
