A new ambitious facility DERICA (Dubna Electron—Rare Ion Collider fAcility) was proposed recently in worldwide collaboration. A number of accelerators for various scientific applications will be built for this project and among them a driver-accelerator LINAC-100 capable of accelerating high-intensity beams of primary stable isotopes up to 100 MeV u−1. This paper contains current results on one of the LINAC-100 versions R&D: parameters of the front-end RFQ section, analysis on the stripper sections and optimal stripping energies, the layout of the superconducting part of LINAC-100 and Uranium beam dynamics simulation results.
