Development of a Genetic Algorithm for Optimization of Nanoalloys

Abstract: Abstract.A genetic algorithm has been developed in order to find the global minimum of platinum-palladium nanoalloy clusters. The effect of biasing the initial population and predating specific clusters has been investigated.
