Development and Validation of a Dissolution Method for Pioglitazone Tablets

Abstract: Dissolution testing has emerged in the pharmaceutical field as a very important tool to characterize drug product performance. Pioglitazone hydrochloride, a frequently prescribed antidiabetic, has no dissolution assay in official monographs.
