Development and study of the thermal and electrical behaviour of TGDDS epoxy nanocomposites for high-performance applications

Abstract: The present work focuses on a comparative study of the thermal and electrical behaviour of N,N 0 -tetraglycidyl diaminodiphenylsulphone (TGDDS) denoted as 'B' to find the suitability for its use in high-performance applications. The synthesis of the tetraglycidyl epoxy was done and they were characterized by FT-IR (Fourier transform infrared spectra) and nuclear magnetic resonance spectra ( 1 H-NMR and 13 C-NMR). Nanoclay and POSSamine nanoreinforcements denoted as N1 and N2 were incorporated into the synthesi… Show more

“…Epoxy resins are well established as thermosetting matrices for advanced structural composites, displaying a series of promising characteristics for a wide range of applications owing to their excellent mechanical properties, low cost, ease of processing, good adhesion to many substrates, and good chemical resistance Meenakshi and Sudhan 2011;Ruban et al 2013). Several fibrous reinforcements, e.g.…”
