Abstract:Aim/Background: Venlafaxine HCl (VEN) is an antidepressant drug with extensive first pass metabolism and low oral bioavailability. In the present study, a solid self-emulsifying formulation of Venlafaxine was developed and evaluated for in vitro and in vivo performance.
