“…Direct deposition of MIPs composed of poly(o-phenylenediamine) (PoPD) on gold electrodes has been employed for the preparation of sensors with high selectivity for furosemide [108] and atrazine [109]. Galvanostatic deposition of pyrrole in the presence of the antibiotic, sulfadimethoxine, was extensively studied by Turco et al [110].…”

“…As seen from Figure A, o‐PD oxidized to its dimer form at 0.4 V vs. Ag/AgCl described an anodic peak in the first scan. The current response of the anodic peak decreased during the successive cycles and almost disappeared at the end of polymerization since the formation of non‐conductive o‐PD film prevented redox couple ([Fe(CN) 6 ] 3−/4− ) from reaching to the surface of electrode . When the electropolymerization of o‐PD was achieved in the absence of MEL (Figure B), almost the same voltammetric behavior was observed in presence of MEL due to the electro‐inactivity of MEL in applied potential range.…”

“…Instead of using the absolute current values, which might vary with the surface areas as well as the electrode congurations from electrode to electrode, a calibration curve was plotted between the relative current change (DI/I 0 ) and salbutamol concentration. 27,28 Here, DI ¼ I 0 À I C , where I 0 and I C are the current values when the concentration of salbutamol is 0 and C nM, respectively. As shown in Fig.…”
