Due to the importance of both rate-less digital fountain codes and Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) schemes in Fifth and Sixth Generation (5G/6G) wireless networks, this paper investigates enhancing the performance of MIMO-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) based system by employing the rate-less fountain codes. The rate-less codes, such as the Tornado codes and Raptor codes, have a flexible code rate that differs from the classical channel coding schemes. This paper uses Raptor code to study the MIMO system's performance with the rate-less codes over different wireless communications channels. The proposed MIMO-fountain code-based system has been tested over the various wireless communication channel conditions concerning the varied Frequency Doppler (FD). In the proposed rate-less wireless communication system, multiple interleaving techniques and equalizers are used to improve its performance. Computer-based simulation experiments are assigned to evaluate the MIMO-fountain code system using the different data transmission scenarios. Simulation results confirm the superiority of the presented wireless rate-less system compared to fixed-rate wireless systems in terms of Bit Error Rate (BER) and throughput.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan sebuah Sistem Monitoring Online pada Budidaya Udang menggunakan Wireless Sensor Network dan Internet of Things. Adapun tujuan dari pengembangan sistem ini adalah untuk membantu petani udang untuk melakukan monitoring dan kontrol kualitas air pada tambak udang. Sistem ini dapat melakukan monitoring empat parameter kualitas air pada tambak udang yakni suhu, pH, salinitas, dan Dissolved Oxygen (DO). Dengan pengembangan sistem ini diharapkan dapat memudahkan petani untuk monitoring serta kontrol kualitas air pada tambak udang. Pengembangan Sistem Monitoring Online pada Budidaya Udang menggunakan Wireless Sensor Network dan Internet of Things ini menggunakan model prototyping. Ada lima tahapan dalam model prototyping yaitu Komunikasi, Perencanaan, Desain Model, Pengembangan Prototipe, serta Penyebaran dan Evaluasi. Pengembangan produk dengan model akan menghasilkan produk yang baik, karena jika seluruh fase sudah terlewati dapat dilakukan iterasi sampai menghasilkan produk yang diinginkan.

Research works of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) applications and its constraints solutions occupy wide area around the world and attract many researchers. In this paper, an important one of environmental WSN applications is presented that is the water monitoring applications. An efficient approach for monitoring and controlling water parameters in real-time is implemented utilizing merging between WSN and designed simple workstation. For implementation simplicity, two water parameters (pH and temperature) are monitored and controlled in the proposed approach. Most of past work of water monitoring presented different proposed monitoring scenarios for different water parameters only. This research work utilizes the concept of interactive WSN nodes. The interactive nodes interact with the monitored water parameters to control its value. In the base station, the collected data is analyzed and the real-time value of the monitored parameters appears on the designed Graphic User Interface (GUI). The GUI is designed using the Matlab program. Through the GUI, the operator can switch the control between automatic and manual. ZigBee module is used for implementing the wireless communications between the nodes and the workstation. Due to the cost and simplicity, two sensors only are used in the proposed approach. Different real-time experiments are performed to test and measure the effectiveness and performance of the presented approach. These experiments reveal that the presented approach is effective for water treatment and efficient more than the past proposed water monitoring scenarios.
