Developing permeable pavements for a more sustainable built environment

Abstract: Permeable concrete pavements are one of the most promising mitigation strategies used to prevent surface flooding. Alalea Kia of Imperial College London introduces a robust new design which is ten times more permeable than conventional systems and resistant to clogging.
