“…The bioconcentration of PFAS in earthworms from water was performed by inducing four or five prepurged worms to 50 mL test solution in 250 mL test beakers containing glass beads (6 mm) as the solid component. 64 The test solution (pH: ∼7.4) was prepared with sterilized distilled water containing 1.0 × 10 −3 mol/L NaHCO 3 (buffer) and 1.0 × 10 −3 mol/L NaCl and spiked with a PFAS to a predetermined concentration (0.2 μmol/L).
