Deterrents to well-child supervision.

Abstract: An interview study of 246 Negro and white mothers of children enrolled in a well-baby clinic identified deterrents to well-child supervision that were related to social and sociopsychological characteristics. The study also showed, however, that individual mothers have a consistent pattern in seeking maternal and child health care.
