Abstract:The paper presents the velocity-pressure and quality factor-pressure dependences of a sandstone sample, using the Fourier spectra of the complete waveforms of the P waves measured in laboratory. Measurements were performed on sandstone and (a reference) aluminum sample at 40 different pressures.
