Determination of the Stoichiometry of the Adducts Formed between some Heterocyclic Bases and Copper(II) Bis(diethyldithiocarbamate) in Various Solvents
Abstract:The stoichiometry of the adducts formed between copper(II) bis(diethyldithiocarbamate) and pyridine in benzene, toluene, and chloroform and between 3-picoline, 4-picoline, and 3,4-lutidine in benzene are shown to be 1:1. The method employed is that of Scatchard using electron paramagnetic resonance studies.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
