Determination of the Characteristic Points of Approximation for Traction Electric Machines of Electric Rolling Stock

Abstract: The paper presents a new approach to the selection of characteristic points on the current-voltage curve (CVC) of the brush contact of traction electric machines, for their approximation in the form of three different functions, with characteristic points of transition to the field weakening mode.
