Abstract: Background and objectives: Lipoid proteinosis (LP) is an autosomal recessive transfer lysosomal storage disease, characterised by the accumulation of hyalin substance in the mucous membranes, skin, internal organs and brain, for which there is no biochemical diagnostic method.
