Determination of the Accuracy of Supine and Prone Approaches to Sonographically Measured Kidney Dimensions

Abstract: Objective: To determine the accuracy of supine and prone approaches to sonographically measured kidney dimensions. Methods: The kidney dimensions of 109 participants were sonographically determined in supine and prone patient positions. The two measurements were compared with each other using the intra-class correlation, coefficient of variation for duplicate measurements and Bland-Altman plot.
