Determination of Sectional Constancy of Organic Coal-Water Fuel Compositions

Abstract: Abstract. To use widespreadly the waste of coals and oils processing in the great and the small-scale power generation, the key parameter, which is sectional constancy of promising organic coal-water fuels (OCWF), was studied. The compositions of OCWF from brown and bituminous coals, filter cakes, used motor, turbine and dielectrical oils, water-oil emulsion and special wetting agent (plasticizer) were investigated. Two modes of preparation were considered. They are with homogenizer and cavitator. It was estab… Show more

“…Figure 1 shows a scheme of the experimental setup developed for the study of the integral ignition characteristics of CWSP droplets. 28 A blower (feature 2 in Figure 1) and a heater (feature 3 in Figure 1) generated an airflow with a temperature of T g = 600−1000 K inside a hollow quartz cylinder (feature 1 in Figure 1). The values of T g were monitored at three points along the symmetry axis of the cylinder 1 (with corresponding technological holes in its wall).…”

“…It does not change the rheological properties of the whole slurry if the concentration of the dopant is small relative to the content of the main components (coal powder and water). Viscosity of the typical slurry is high enough to keep the initial level of uniformity for 1 week. , Therefore, the new doped fuel can increase the efficiency of every system where a usual CWSP is appropriate.…”
