Determination of regularities of heat resistance under flame action on wood wall with fire-retardant varnish

Abstract: An analysis of fire-retardant materials for wooden building structures is carried out and the need to develop reliable methods for studying the process of ignition and flame propagation on the surface of a building structure, necessary for creating new types of fire-retardant materials, is found. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the conditions for forming a thermal conductivity barrier and find a mechanism for inhibiting heat transfer to the material. In this regard, a computational and analytical metho… Show more

“…An unprotected timber sample was found to be capable of igniting and spreading flames around the surface after ignition, causing the structure to collapse [1,2]. The use of heat-insulating materials makes it possible to slow down the warming of the material and to retain its functions in case of a fire for a specified period but requires considerable costs [3,4].…”

“…The impact of manufacturing on a country's economic development, especially emphasizing its effect on the service sector, savings incentives, technological accumulation, and exploitation of human capital and economic institutions, has been explored by [69]. Their emphasis lies on the need for industrial strategy in averting early deindustrialization, particularly in the age of globalization, to maintain sustained economic growth in emerging nations [70][71][72][73]. The scholars suggested extending the period of industrialization in the states, as they believe that such a model would achieve better long-term economic outcomes than one that is service-oriented.…”
