Abstract:The Radon level was measured in (17) groundwater samples collected from Baghdad city/ Iraq and two samples from Tigris and Dyala River. The measurements were performed by RAD7 an electronic radon detector manufactured by Durridge Company Inc. The concentrations of radon (226Ra) ranged from 0.3 to 2 (Bq/L).
